CleoKatra

 We got a cat at the beginning of November. We named her CleoKatra. She was called Katrina at the SPCA after the person who brought her in as a stray. She's about 2 years old and she spent 4 months at the shelter.

She was very shy and slept alot at first, but she's more active and assertive now. She was full of extra fur and had a lot of dander when we first got her, but, after a lot of brushing and a weekly bath, she is now pretty much dander and shedding free. She doesn't mind getting a bath, so that makes it much easier to keep up with it.

She was a bit heavy so needed a diet. We switched her to weightloss food and she gained weight! So we've now reduced her portions and she get's half her food in a ball that she has to play with for it to dispense a few bits of food at a time.

Ethan bought her a laser pointer toy for christmas. Wow! she loves that thing. It is hilarious to watch her try to catch the little red dot. She also loves looking at birds outside, though she has no inclination to venture outside herself.
