We spent the night on Christmas at Ryan's Mom's house. After a quick shopping excursion in the morning, we headed out to Sooke to celebrate with the extended Chidlows and Scotts. Ethan was very excited to drive out in Nana and Papa's truck (loaded with presents!)

Christmas day
Christmas Eve and Morning
My Mom and Brother Tim came up Christmas Eve and spent the night. We made a Turkey Breast dinner with green bean casserole, Dutch potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, fresh baked buns and pumpkin pie. Mmmmmm...

Evelyn is holding her favorite gift. It is called Jingle the husky pup. As she reads a story to it, it recognizes certain phrases and responds. Ethan gave it to her and he was very proud that she liked his gift so much.
Merry Christmas!

Evelyn's class also sang 2 songs. She couldn't find us for the first song, so decided not to sing. She spotted us between songs, and sang along with the second one.
Bethlehem walk and Sahota/Parrish visit
We decorated our tree right at the beginning of the month this year. We found a gorgeous Noble Fir.
The next weekend, the Sahota's and Parrish's came up for the Bethlehem Walk in Parksville.
The kids pretended they were Shepherds.
Every one enjoyed watching the candles getting dipped.
Casey seemed really interested in the iron forge.
The kids felt different typed of furs.
The butchers stall had a variety of meat. ..Fish beef, hearts, liver...Mmm!
The livestock was a popular attraction.
The boys and Evelyn took turns grinding flour.
Hot Chocolate and treats completed the evening.
The Sahota's spent the night and came to our church the next morning. The kids had fun pretending to be pirates and Alyssa and Lillian spent a lot of time playing with the doll house.
